Every year Salty Earth Pictures acknowledges a few individuals who give their time and use their talents to further the mission of Salty Earth Pictures.
Susan Wales is a writer, producer, and speaker. She has written several novels including “The Chase.” This novel which she co-wrote with Robin Shope is being made into a motion picture by Salty Earth Pictures. She also worked closely for her husband producer Ken wales on the Christy television series and the movie Amazing Grace. Susan is one of the earliest supporters of Salty Earth Pictures and is a tremendous encouragement to this ministry. Susan lets her love for the Lord shine in all that she does. She will be working closely with Salty Earth Pictures president Steve Zambo on the novel version of “Scrooge’s Next Christmas.” It is an honor and blessing to have Susan wales as a 2011 inductee on the Salty Earth Pictures Wall of Fame.
Rochelle Traub is a freelance producer who has been a tremendous blessing to Salty Earth Pictures. She served as a co-producer on the feature film “Journey to Paradise” and was instrumental in helping to obtain worldwide distribution for the movie. Rochelle and her husband Kevin are actively involved in the work of Salty earth Pictures. Rochelle plans to be a producer on many of Salty Earth Pictures upcoming projects including “The Chase” and “Scrooge’s Next Christmas.” It is an honor and blessing for Salty Earth Pictures to have Rochelle as a 2011 inductee on the Salty earth Pictures wall of Fame.
When it comes to entertainment, no one does it better than Rick and Jane Klopcic. They are the owners of the Fireside Theatre. This dinner theatre is one of the most visited attractions in all of Wisconsin. Located several blocks from Salty Earth Pictures, in Fort Atkinson, the Fireside has become a dear friend and supporter of our work. The Klopcic’s provided many of the Christmas decorations used in “Journey to Paradise” along with encouragement and support. They never shy away from letting their lights shine and are a wonderful example of service and Christ centered leadership. Salty Earht Pictures is honored and blessed to have Rick and Jane as 2011 inductees on the wall of Fame.
Michael Schroeder has been entertaining and inspiring audiences around the world with his lyrics and songs for decades. Salty Earth Pictures was blessed and privileged to include many of his songs in the motion picture "Journey to Paradise." His willingness to share his musical talents brought a level professionalism and inspiration that would have been impossible to acquire. Michael lives in Wausau, Wisconsin but tours extensively bringing his music and message to many. He recently produced the song track to the motion picture "Journey to Paradise" that includes the movies theme song, Michael's renditions of the Christmas songs used in the movie (including "The Reason for the Season), and his song "Paradise." Robin Shope the author of the novel "The Christmas Edition" received a star for her generous involvement with the production of Salty Earth Pictures first feature motion picture "Journey to Paradise." Her willingness to allow her wonderful story to serve as the base for "Journey to Paradise" made it possible for Salty Earth Pictures to produce both an impacting and dramatic motion picture. Frank Datzer has been a friend of Salty Earth Pictures since its beginning. He tirelessly worked as a producer and an the editor on "Journey to Paradise." His sense of pacing and composition was a great gift to the production. After the excitement of pre-production and production ends, many hours are spent in the editing room actually putting the movie together. This is no small task and requires ability and great patience. Salty Earth Pictures greatly appreciates all that he does to help produce quality motion pictures on modest budgets. Frank was Assistant Vice President of USBank Corporation's (Firstar Corporation) Media and Video Services Department for twelve years before entering the sales and marketing side of the video business. He has also been involved in the production of many independent film projects. At the third annual Salty Earth Pictures' Studio Event, October 17, 2008, David Ruprecht was inducted as the second member of the Salty Earth Pictures Wall of Fame. David is an accomplished stage, screen, and television actor. He has many screen credits to his name as has appeared in countless productions. He is best know for his long tenure as host of the game show Supermarket Sweep. David has appeared as Brandon Taylor in nine episodes of Fifth Pew from the Front produced at Salty Earth Pictures. He is a long time friend, supporter, and encourager of Salty Earth Pictures. The screening room at Salty Earth Pictures also bears the name, The David Ruprecht Theatre. On June 10, 2009 Suzanne LaRusch was inducted into the Salty Earth Pictures Wall of Fame at its studio in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Suzanne is a wonderful performer and friend of Salty Earth Pictures. Her performance as Lucille Ball is remarkable. She performs a one-woman show, An Evening with Lucille Ball, directed by Lucy's daughter, Lucie Arnaz. "We are very pleased to welcome Suzanne LaRusch as the third member of the Wall of Fame," said Salty Earth Pictures President, Steven Zambo. "Here professionalism and faith are an example to all."On October 19, 2007, John Barber was inducted as the first memberof the Salty Earth Pictures Wall of Fame. As an actor, producer, and director, John's work has been professional and creative.
As a Christian he serves as a wonderful example of a man of faith to many in and outside the entertainment and media community. He and his wonderful wife, Lynne, have also been great encouragers and supporters of Salty Earth Pictures.
